The Gateway JUG was founded 9 years ago to promote Java through education and outreach to the developer community.
We cover topics on Java™ APIs, tools, and methodologies presented so beginners and advanced developers alike can take something away from the presentation. Starting in 2010, we've paired with the Gateway Groovy Users group to bring Groovy and Grails topics to our members.
Light refreshments are provided at the meetings for all attendees and we usually have great door prizes. Refreshments and door prizes are provided by our monthly meeting sponsor.
Our meetings are always free and open to the public.
