November 2008 Topic: Web Development with Spring MVC

The Spring Framework has become popular in the Java community. The Spring MVC (Model-View-Controller) brings the power of the Spring Framework to web development in terms of simplicity, testability, and loose coupling. The Spring configuration makes it easier than ever to configure and assemble the web components by taking full advantage of dependency injection (DI) and Spring AOP (Aspect-Oriented Programming).
